  15/09/06

As a result of enquiries both from industry and past students wanting a career path that goes beyond the Certificate III Food Processing (Wine), South West Regional College of TAFE have recently developed a Certificate IV in Wine Industry Management.  This qualification is intended to specifically address skills that supervisors in the wine industry require.

Units have been drawn from a number of existing training packages including horticulture, food processing and business and these will be customised to the wine industry.

As part of the accreditation process, industry consultation is required prior to the WAFBITC confirming industry support.

We would therefore appreciate your feedback on both the relevance of the units and/or any changes you believe are necessary. Please contact Leonie McQuilkin on (08) 9328 5333 or email: leonie@wafitc.asn.au
